Please take a moment to review the updated information regarding the Summer EBT program. Changes have been made this year—families who are not already receiving benefits or whose children do not receive Medicaid will need to apply on their own. Previously, eligibility was automatic due to our school's CEP status, which provides free meals to all students.
For more details and application instructions, please refer to the provided information in the link below. If you have any questions, please contact the Food Service Department at 231-861-0317.

Pre-Festival Concert rescheduled

Students and Families,
Our Pre-Festival Concert for 7-12th graders has been moved to Wednesday February 19th at 7:30pm.
The timing of 7:30pm rather than 7:00pm is to make sure the HS is able to get through all of parent teacher conferences before we can begin our performance.
Boardwalk Brass is unable to perform for this date change, but we have invited them to perform and with and for our middle school groups in the Spring. Dr. Wilson from GVSU is still available to perform with our students. You won't want to miss hearing him perform Carnival of Venice!
I so look forward to having a great night of music with you on Wednesday February 19th at 7:30pm SHS auditorium. Invite your friends!
As always, reach out with any questions.
-Ms. Ray

Who is the best SRO? We think it’s Deputy Simon! From showing our middle schoolers how to tackle a sledding hill to bringing energy to school dances—or just offering a friendly morning high five—he’s always there for our students. Thank you, Deputy Simon, for all you do! We appreciate you!⭐️👮🏼♂️🐅

February student of the month.

SMS Sporting events cancelled for today.

Our Middle School Math Counts team had an incredible competition at West Shore Community College on Thursday! 🎉✏️
Out of 14 teams, our amazing mathematicians secured 2nd place overall! With over 200 students competing, we also had some outstanding individual performances—Brycen Brown was part of a three-way tie for 1st place, and Ivy Chatfield took home 5th place! 🏆👏
A huge congratulations to all of our competitors and a special shout-out to Coach Glamzi for her dedication and hard work with this team! Way to represent our school with skill and determination! 🎉🎉
